Monitor public policy at the source
Policyful regularly scans the Official Gazette, the Turkish Parliament, municipal councils and the decisions of supervisory and regulatory authorities, and keeps them up to date. It presents the change that affects you, its effective date and the actions the decision calls for, together with its source.
Every morning, the whole Official Gazette is read
Matching is based on your organisation's field of activity, not keywords. You won't miss a regulation that concerns you, even if the word you search for isn't in the text.
Choose your organisation type, the topics you care about and the institutions you follow. These choices decide which regulations reach you. When you update your profile, your results update the same day.
Every morning, the Official Gazette, the bills, parliamentary questions and inquiries submitted to Parliament, and regulators' decisions are scanned. Matching is based on your profile, not keywords.
For every regulation that concerns you, a plain summary is prepared: its impact on your organisation, key dates, what to do and the consequences of not complying. From here you can also get a risk report, compliance checklist or email draft. The source of every piece of information is shown.
Every sentence comes with its source
Every sentence Policyful writes is shown with the article, paragraph and Official Gazette issue it relies on. Sanctions and amounts are carried over exactly from the source text; if the source doesn't say it, it isn't written.
Personal data may be transferred abroad when there is an adequacy decision about the destination country and one of the conditions in Article 5 or 6 is met. 1
(1) Kişisel veriler, 5 inci ve 6 ncı maddelerde belirtilen şartlardan birinin varlığı ve aktarımın yapılacağı ülke, ülke içerisindeki sektörler veya uluslararası kuruluşlar hakkında yeterlilik kararı bulunması halinde, veri sorumluları ve veri işleyenler tarafından yurt dışına aktarılabilir.
The Classic Method and Policyful
Every morning you open the Official Gazette and read it entry by entry. If there is a regulation that concerns your organisation, finding it and passing it on to the right people is up to you.
The regulations that concern your organisation are in front of you every morning. Each one says who it affects, when it takes effect and what you need to do.
You often learn from the news that a bill you follow has passed committee.
You are notified as soon as a bill you follow reaches committee, passes committee or goes to the plenary. In the same place you also see who submitted it and what they have said on the topic in Parliament before.
You read a communiqué that runs for pages from start to finish. You try to work out for yourself what changed for your organisation and what you need to do.
You read a plain summary of the communiqué. What changed for your organisation, what you need to do and what happens if you don't comply are clearly stated, with their source.
You ask a general AI tool and get an answer. But the source of the answer is unclear. To find out whether the fine it quotes is correct, you still have to open the law.
Each sentence shows which article it relies on, so you don't need to look up the law separately to check. Fines are carried over as they appear in the source text; an amount not in the source is never written.
You write the compliance note for management or your team from scratch in Word. You build the tables by hand and gather the information from different sources one by one.
Risk reports, compliance checklists and email drafts arrive ready. Instead of writing from scratch, you review the ready text and edit it to suit your needs.
You search by keyword. Even if a regulation concerns you, you miss it when your search term isn't in the text. For example, if you search for "association", you won't see a regulation issued for "legal entities" that also applies to associations.
Matching is based on your organisation type and the topics you care about, not words. You won't miss a regulation that concerns you, even if your search term isn't in the text.

What changed, and how does it affect us?
“Finding which bill concerns our field takes time.”
We find the bills on the topics you care about. You see what each bill brings, who submitted it and what stage it is at in one place, and you can prepare a short policy note for advocacy.
